Veterinary Surgery

Head of the team, she has been a general practitioner in the area for many years and does some acupuncture.  She owns several grey hairs, and even more rescues. The most recent addition is a young dachshund! 

Clare is our dedicated all rounder who joined the Hope team in 2010.  She is a local lass and the proud owner of an energetic border terrier and three playful cats.

Bethan joined us in September 2019, and soon after rescued an ex-RSPCA cat called Arthur and dog called Archie!

After a short peroid away Esme has returned to the fold, and we couldn't be happier she's back with the team.

Jane is one of the original members of the team, with us since 2009. Deborah once referred to her as our “geriatric nurse”, but she is far from it! She has a dog, 2 cats and a guinea pig.

Layla joined us in 2013. She enjoys taking her wirehaired viszla Jola for long walks with her family (especially if it ends in a pub!)

Sarah has been a veterinary nurse in the area for several years. She enjoys long walks on Cannock Chase with her Jack Russell Joey and collie Tess.

Ali finally settled at Hope vets in 2018 after working as a vet nurse “down under” and all over the UK! She loves her cockers Dolly and Minnie, and tortoise Marilyn. 

With over 21 years of experience in the veterinary industry, Kristy has now ditched the stripes and qualified as an RVN in 2021. Sasha the rottie is so proud of her mum.

Becky has been with us since 2012 and has recently completed her veterinary nurse training. She has a rescue dog Bailey who recently had a DNA test and is a mix of 4 breeds!

Emily joined us in early 2021. She has a cockerpoo called Cash.

Laura studied and qualified with Hopes as a veterinary nurse from Harper Adams, she rejoined our team in March 2021. Laura is a keen baker (we will vouch for her skills!). Her furry family are Penny the sprocker, Boo the cat and Peter the rabbit.

Libby, pictured with beloved family member Belle, fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming an RVN by graduating from Harper Adams Univeristy in 2021. 

Toni joined us in early 2021, she is a self-confessed crazy cat lady and lives with her two and a half cats! 

Laura joined us initially as a veterinary care assistant but has since started her veterinary nurse training. She owns a German Shephard, Labrador, and several cats.

Rachael joined us in 2018. She loves all animals and is a proud owner of staffy Maisy and cat Kit!

Yvonne is one of the founding 4, with us since 2009. Her menagerie includes a cockerpoo, cat (who thinks she is a tiger), tortoise and chameleon!

Cal has been with us since 2017. She owns 2 cats, Dilbert and Spud, and a Puggle called Merle. 

Angie is our resident crazy cat lady, having 6 cats at home. She joined us in late 2018 and has only rescued 3 cats so far... (watch this space) 

Nikki is our original “Domestic Goddess”. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family.
