Pet Insurance
We all know owning a pet is one of the best feelings, most of us treat them like family! However, especially after COVID, when something goes wrong it can get expensive.
We do not recommend any insurance company above others, but suggest you do your research. Please only look for ‘life time cover’ insurance. Always read the fine print. There will be excesses to pay and often later on in your pet’s life, some insurances will ask for an additional percentage for you to pay. Check the level of cover you are taking out. Is there a maximum fee? Is this fee per condition or lifetime? Unlike car insurance cheap is not always the best.
Please note:
- We do not always offer direct claims
- When starting a claim the insurance company will ask for your pet’s full veterinary history
- If you are considering breeding, some insurances will discontinue your cover
- Dentals are generally NOT covered
- If you swap insurers they will require a full history so may not cover an illness if your pet has previously been seen for it (even if you did not claim at the time)
- Some insurers will not cover certain conditions or symptoms
